Nice staff, nice facility, beautiful rooms. Breakfast was very nice and the room has a beautiful view of the city & sea!

What was the highlight of RC Deco Art Hotel Boutique

We highly recommend this hotel and wish the owners great success in the future.

Breakfast had a variety of meats, cheese, vegetables and guacamole. Toast and scrambled eggs made fresh by the host was a plus. As a Southerner from Texas, very surprised and glad to see pimiento cheese -- tasty! Hot coffee and tea available all day, as well as bottled water upon request. Location was high on a hill with excellent view of the water and Valparaiso itself. Quiet at night, easy walk downhill to historic part of city. We followed the advise of a previous reviewer and spent a bit extra for the top floor suite -- the view was well worth it! Host Luis and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. We found excellent food and beer at a nearby German restaurant (Hotzenplatz), as well a pizza from a very friendly Italian named Fabrizio (Pizzeria Amore Mio).

Bathroom sink drained slowly -- but that didn't take away from our good experience.

The hotel is more like a hostel. Needs a big cleaning and upgrade. We were very disappointed.

The view from the dining room area was lovely. The location was out of the downtown area but was near a funicular which made the downtown easily accessible.

The hotel was dark and musty smelling. The room was very small. Little room to get from one side of the bed to the other. We had booked two rooms. When we checked in the manager on duty showed us a very small room with no windows. We requested another and were given one with a smaller room attached for which we had to pay extra. The coffee at breakfast was often weak and cold. The dishes were dirty.

Nice and authentic hotel, ideally situated, very good breakfast & great owners !

Great hotel, ideally situated, in a calm neighbourhood very close to the city center, very special atmosphere ! Special thanks to the owners: we had some health issues and they were kind enough to take us to the doctor! Very good breakfast with a great view on the Valparaiso bay, toasts, jam, cereals, eggs and ham, juices, tomatoes and avocados.

Better to ask for a room with the view on the outside, as the ones towards the inside are very small. But also cheaper so that's understandable !

What was the highlight of RC Deco Art Hotel Boutique

Perfect location to enjoy the whole of Valparaiso and beyond.

We had no idea that we'd need to get out of Santiago because it was too hot and when a local said "try Valparaiso by the sea" we checked out Booking.com. We soon found the RC Art Deco and thought: this is for us, let's book 5 days. Yes it was for us, set a few metres up from the coast in Bellavista, it turned out to be brilliant. Luiz, the owner, greeted us on arrival and showed us our downstairs room and the upstairs suite he would put us in for our last 3 days. The building is a marvel of design and hugely enjoyable. Beds and breakfast were brilliant. The location is quiet and Luiz with his wife and staff, Nadine and Bruno, made us feel really welcome. Luiz is very happy for guests to borrow his cork screw and glasses and enjoy the wine - which they can buy from 100m downhill or 200m uphill - on the balcony overlooking the docks. For wildlife go around the bay and beyond the pier to see sealions. Or take the bus to San Antonio and its fish market!

Because of the architecture of the hotel, rooms are large but bathrooms may be small. But hey, this is an hotel with character, we would not want to lose this. Oh, and yes, we wish we'd known about the lift, Espiritu Santo, from Aldunate (street) when we'd first arrived we could have avoided all those steps!

Las vistas desde el salón del desayuno, lo más.

La construcción de madera, espacios amplios con vistas espectaculares, el diseño de todo el hotel, la atención de Luis y el trato cálido y sencillo de todos en general. El mobiliario era genial, varios rincones de estar, muy agradables, Se llega muy fácil desde el aeropuerto, en colectivo, bajando en el Arco británico y tomando el elevador.

La canilla del lavabo del baño salpicaba bastante.Tal vez una toalla pequeña más, ya que eramos tres para una sola. Lo demás, perfecto.

Muy lindo lugar, gran vista, duenos muy amables e atentos! Los duenos realmente se preocupan por el bienestar de sus huespedes. Mucho carino y estilo! Rico desayuno y maravillosa teraza. Excelente estadía

La vistas de las habitaciones y del salón del desayuno son increíbles. Habitaciones cómodas, lindas y limpias. Estilo general del hotel muy agradable.

Muy lindo y agradable!

La gente que lo atiende y lo bien decorado que esta el hotel. Ademas tiene una terraza desde donde se ve el puerto muy bien, que con un dia despejado se aprecia mucho la vista.

Muy buena decisión al elegirlo al

Me gusto que acepten a mi perrito, es muy difícil viajar con mascota mas si eres de otro país porque no conoces nada de la cultura, los dueños del hotel fueron muy amables en aceptarlo y darnos confianza en el Hotel frente a los demás huéspedes.

Falta que vendan al Menos bebidas (agua, gaseosas) quizás poner una máquina dispensadora.

Perfecto! Mejor que lo que se ve en las fotos.

El lugar es hermoso, estilo rústico, tiene una gran terraza-comedor con balcón con vista a los cerros y el mar; la habitación familiar es prácticamente un departamento, el baño grande, las camas muy cómodas, el entorno es muy bonito (museo a cielo abierto).Además el personal es muy amable, y muy rico el desayuno. Cuando vuelva a Valparaíso volveré a alojar aquí mismo. Lo recomiendo!!!
